aarrgh!
I hate it when I do a Google search on a Christian author and most of the sites that come up are from these ultra-Fundamentalist authors who think everyone and their brothers are false-teachers of the Gospel!
In some ways, it seems easier to love your enemies than to love your brother. Especially when the brother thinks he doesn’t have any brothers or sisters because he’s the only Christian on earth.

I don’t get too fired up about a lot of issues (at least, I don’t think I do). However, there is a group affiliated with some Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas (Westboro, or Westfield, or Western, …. etc.) that sent some folks to Evansville (this week) to protest at the funeral of some 21-year old kid (or some age close to that) who was killed in Iraq. They are protesting American “acceptance” of homosexuality…… and, since the military “accepts” it, they are protesting at this young soldier’s funeral (no indication or belief that he was gay).
Horrible!! This takes the term “fundamentalist” to a new low for me. These people make left-wing fringe liberals look reasonable. I get so angry I am at a loss for words…and, that is VERY rare…………….

I’m not sure how many times I’ve seen you speechless because of your anger. I don’t blame you, though. Makes you want to go smack someone.
Were they the same people who protested the funeral for Matthew Shepherd in Colorado? I seem to remember signs like, “God hates queers” and stuff like that. That makes my blood boil.
