Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. As I’ve said before, I’m no Casanova. You might not be, either. But that’s OK. I’ve pulled together a list to help. Here are some suggestions. I don’t think many of these qualify as last-minute gifts. So you should probably plan ahead.
If you really want to plan ahead, why not spend some time preparing for Valentine’s Day with a countdown calendar. OK, this calendar is really a countdown to Christmas, but I’m sure you could use it to countdown to Valentine’s Day.
Give a gift
I know. It’s an old standby. But you can’t go wrong with sending flowers.
Feeling a little more creative? Share how you feel with a LoveBook.
Give a Hearts Collection bracelet or an original Love Bracelet from Love is Project and help change the world at the same time.
Maybe you could get matching t-shirts.
Do you have a favorite photo of the two of you? Print and frame that special photo with Canvas on Demand.
Nothing says “I love you” like personalized ice cream! If you hurry, eCreamery will give you a free pint of Red Velvet ice cream with any purchase of four or eight pints. This promotion is available while supplies last. No coupon or code needed. Just add the pint to your cart!
Plan a Valentine’s Day dinner
Create a charcuterie board with Jalapeno Summer Sausage from Southside Market & Barbecue. Follow it up with a main course of Smoked Chicken Halves or beef brisket from Southside Market.
Feeling fancy? Order some American Wagyu steaks from Snake River Farms.
Check out these bundles from Perdue Farms. There’s plenty here for several date night dinners!
If you live near Indianapolis, consider ordering lasagna from Send a Friend Lasagna (I talk about this great service here).
I’ve shared it before and I’ll share it again. This breakfast in bed is really easy to put together!
Get cozy
It’s usually pretty cold in the middle of February. So stay home and cuddle up! Build a fire in your fireplace if you have one. Or you could share a sloth blanket, a tortilla blanket, or a weighted blanket and watch a sappy movie together. Amazon Prime and Paramount+ have free trials available!
