I know liztoddis waiting on the edge of her seat to hear my thoughts about Greenspan’s resignation. Here it goes:
I keep thinking of an old tale about a boy who picked up a rattlesnake.
Greenspan knew Sampson’s history. Instead of watching him like a hawk, he allowed him to keep doing what he did. Because of that, IU has been hit with another charge, failure to monitor. The charges are not good. And they were brought upon the program because he chose to believe a rattlesnake. And now Greenspan’s gone.
At least now there’s a completely clean slate to the program. Maybe we can finally close this chapter and begin to move on.
