Team Allegiance
When Aiden played basketball as a Tar Heel, he became a North Carolina fan. When his soccer team was the Predators, he suddenly became a Nashville Predators fan.
I’m hoping that trend has come to an end. His baseball team this year is the Red Sox. Although two of my good childhood friends were ardent Red Sox enthusiasts, I’d prefer that Aiden refrain from becoming a fan of any team remotely related to New England. A certain football team in New England has turned me off to the entire region.
Just as long as he doesn’t expect me to buy any Red Sox gear to support his team.
