A conversation with my son while watching Star Wars:

Me: Darth Vader.
Aiden: Anakin turns into Darth Vader.
Me: How do you know that? Who told you that?
Aiden: Nobody.
Me: Well, how do you know that Anakin turns into Darth Vader?
Aiden: I just know these things.

I guess you can’t keep anything secret from him. I was hoping to keep Anakin’s true identity secret for…oh, 10 years or so. I still don’t think he knows there’s an Episode III, though. Although, one guy at McDonald’s a few weeks ago asked him if he had gone to see the new Star Wars movie. Fortunately, Aiden thinks A New Hope is the new movie.

We’ll see how long I can keep that charade up.
