It’s no secret that I was a big Star Wars fan as a kid. Still am. But you know that, too. My Star Wars action figures are still safely stored in my classic Return of the Jedi lunchbox.

I was also a big fan of superheroes, too. I think Spider-Man was my favorite.

Or maybe it was Superman.

No. It was Batman.

OK. OK. It was definitely Captain America.

Maybe.

I know, I know. We’re crossing the superhero streams here. But that’s OK. I did it as a kid all the time, too. You know? The lines between all of the heroic universes blurred when it came down to the serious business of play time.

I mention all of this because if a company like Yankee Toy Box had existed when I was a kid, my head might have exploded. They have so many great (and useful) hero-related merchandise, they have the perfect gift for the child (or adult) who likes clothes and accessories related to superheroes – including DC Super Heroes and heroes from the Marvel universeStar Wars, PJ Masks, PAW Patrol, and even some Harry Potter merchandise,

Yankee Toy Box is dedicated to bringing joy and excitement into your life by providing exclusive licensed character apparel and accessories for everyone in your family. Mihret decided to show you some of her favorite items from Yankee Toy Box…

Star Wars Insulated School Lunch Box

Mihret holding a Star Wars lunchbox from Yankee Toy Box.

Who doesn’t want to spend lunch with Chewbacca, Yoda, C-3PO, R2-D2, Darth Vader, and a squadron of Stormtroopers? Mihret and I have already had several conversations about who gets to use this lunchbox on a regular basis. I say it’s mine. She says it’s hers. We might have to find a way to share (or buy a second box).

DC Super Friends Boys Girls 16″ School Backpack

I know this says it’s a school backpack, but you really don’t have to limit it to school time use. In fact, I’ve started using this backpack when I go to in to the office. our favorite DC Comic characters – Superman, Batman, Robin, The Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman, Hawkman, Green Lantern and more! I would have loved this backpack as a child.

Shoot – I love it as an adult!

Marvel Superhero Adventures socks

If you’ve spent any time with me at all, you probably know I love my fun socks. Yankee Toy Box has socks. for. days. Including a variety of fun licensed socks for adults. The 6-pack of Super Hero Adventures kids socks that Yankee Toy Box sent me includes some of your favorite Avengers – Black Panther, Hulk, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, and Captain America.

I asked Mihret to pick which socks were her favorite. She chose Spider-Man.

As you can see, the apple (still) might not fall too far from the tree.
