Unbelievable
I stumbled upon the Australian Open after accidentally hitting the wrong numbers on my remote control. There were times when I have enjoyed watching tennis, but that was close to ten years ago. Watching the ball bounce back and forth usually gets pretty redundant and doesn’t do a very good job of holding the attention of this ADD boy.
That being said, the Roddick v. Kohlschrieber match has caught my attention. It’s amazing to think that these guys have been playing for more than three hours and they still have an unbelievable amount of strength and intensity. Roddick’s serves were still in the 130+ mph range. Amazing!
I haven’t watched tennis in nearly ten years. I doubt I’ll watch another match for a long, long time. But at least I got to watch what the announcers are already calling one of the best matches ever at the Australian Open. Of course, I wonder how they can make such a declaration while they’re still playing, but that’s neither here nor there at this point. It’s been pretty fun to watch.
