Aly the Artist
Aly came up to me yesterday with this picture. She explained to me that it was Jesus on the cross. Can you tell?
Looks like they used lots of nails. I don’t know if it’s because Easter is coming up, or what. She’s been asking a lot of questions about the cross.

What are the marks surrounding it?
The stuff in the lower left-hand corner is the wind. I think she said the rest of the marks surrounding him is a storm.
Why is there a storm around him?

When you read Matthew’s account of Jesus’ death, it’s obvious that the whole of creation knew who Jesus was and reacted violently. It might not be too far of a stretch to think that there was a storm as part of creation’s mourning the death of the Messiah.
Just a thought.
