March Madness returns

I’ve been watching a lot of the conference tournament games this week – especially the “mid-major” tournaments. It has done nothing but get me excited for this coming week when March Madness makes its annual visit. It’s kind of like Christmas parties and other Christmas-related events get you geared up for Christmas morning.

That must mean that today, Selection Sunday, is Christmas Eve where you get to open one present before you go to bed. Knowing who’s in and who’s out of the tournament is only going to whet my appetite even more for Thursday’s opening round games. Yes, this is the most wonderful time of the year.

My apologies ahead of time for all of the basketball-related posts I’ll probably be writing over the next few days. It is March Madness, after all!
