Go Hoosiers!
Nice win for the Hoosiers tonight. Couldn’t watch it because the game wasn’t on down here. ESPN 2 decided to show the much less interesting Ohio State vs. Purdue game instead. Well, on paper anyway. I guess Purdue made it interesting for a while. Until they blew an 11 point lead.
The Hoosiers are still undefeated at home this season. That hasn’t happened since the 93-94 season. That’s right, my friend. The end of the Bobby Knight era was far from stellar – regardless of what you might think. I waxed poetic about that early on in MattDanTodd Land’s existence (you can read it here…remember – that’s when I was still hoping against hope that Davis could somehow right the ship. Boy was I wrong).
The win also ended Wisconsin’s run at an undefeated record in the Big Ten this season. Who was the last team to go undefeated in the Big Ten? That’s right – the Hoosiers. 1976 to be exact.
In all, it’s definitely a good win.
Why did the students have to ruin it by storming the court? As I said last year, it’s time to act like you’ve been there before.
