Super Bowl
We had a Super Bowl party tonight. I think we managed to cram 15 adults and 2 more children into our tiny apartment. Even though it was snowing outside, we had to crack open the windows because it was getting toasty in here. I’m exhausted, so I’m just going to post highlights tonight – maybe I’ll elaborate more tomorrow…
Played Apples to Apples before the game. While it was less intense than when we play with Kevin and Liz, it was still pretty funny.
We had plenty of food! Chicken tenders, chicken wings, homemade salsa, Big B’s Bar-B-Q, and cake…just to name a few menu items.
The commercials were OK. I thought some of the cell phone ones were pretty memorable.
Pittsburgh won! I’ve always been somewhat of a Pittsburgh fan. At least since around 1990 or so. Of course, I’d have preferred the Colts to have won, but that wasn’t in the cards this year. I’m too tired to explain all of my reasons for cheering on the Steelers. I’ll try to justify it tomorrow. Let’s just say it has to do with a certain vacation our family took and a certain former IU quarterback…
