Thank You!

I haven’t really listened to or watched much that is sports related since the Super Bowl. That being said, I’m already tired of hearing the “Refs: 21, Seahawks: 10” line. I’m especially tired of hearing about Joe Montana’s non-presence (who cares really?).

It’s nice to know that someone in the sports world (they’re paid to hype this kind of stuff up, aren’t they?) says it’s time to turn the page.

You can complain all you want about what happened. In the end, the fact remains that one team just didn’t get the job done. Right, Peyton? He knows about not getting the job done.

On a completely unrelated Super Bowl note, one of Aiden’s teammates drove with his dad to Pittsburgh last night after their basketball game. They decided at the last-minute to go up and watch the victory parade. Aiden’s teammate’s dad, Jeff, is a lifelong Steelers fan.

On another completely unrelated Super Bowl note, but somewhat related to the other unrelated Super Bowl note, my dad spent the weekend conducting business in Pittsburgh. He got back home Sunday afternoon. When I talked to him after the game, he said the atmosphere of the city was something special. Even the little old ladies at the fancy restaurant were wearing their Steelers sweaters! Now that’s a fan base!
