IU Trivia
I have come to a realization tonight. My son is already becoming an IU fanatic. We had the game on and he cheered for the Hoosiers with the passion only a five-year-old can muster (he calls the Spartans the “Sparkies”). I’m a little concerned, though. He still talks about how his basketball team lost to the Thunder, and that was over a month ago! Knowing that he holds that kind of grudge, what’s he going to do when he really starts following the Hoosiers and they lose a game? It might just ruin his week.
Here’s hoping for a long stretch of undefeated seasons!
Since the IU vs. Michigan State game didn’t turn out like we’d hoped (IU lost by 14, or something like that), I figured I could dwell on something more upbeat for Hoosier fans…
IU beating Kentucky.
Here’s the piece of trivia that I don’t know the answer to – When’s the last time IU beat Kentucky in both football and basketball? It happened this year, but when did they do that before this season? I know the football Hoosiers beat UK in ’01, but the basketball team got blown out. Anyone know the answer? Inquiring minds want to know!

Sounds like my grandson is getting some solid, fundamental instruction in his formative years.
Keep up the good work!
Hey – did you expect anything less? 8{)}
Thanks for the encouragement! He has a game tonight, so he won’t be able to watch the IU game this time.
oops – I thought today was Tuesday. Anyway, Aiden has basketball practice during the IU game so he still won’t be able to watch it.
