When I was in college I went to a musical that had to do with this event. It was framed in a story about some college students doing some sort of project for school- I can’t remember exactly. But at the end they called for people to make a commitment to live for God in the same way as these missionaries. They made a whole song around that quote. I guess the rest of the production was fairly forgettable, but I’ve never been able to get that one line out of my head.
