Feeling Helpless…
In addition to donating to the Red Cross and Salvation Army, there is an effort to assist a New Orleans church plant when they are allowed to return to the city. Please keep Journey Christian Church in your prayers.
Watching the news leaves me unbearably frustrated with the slow response (I really am sure they’re doing the best they can), saddened by the loss of life, and extremely angry at the anarchy that reigns in the Big Easy. Helping those who are helping is a positive way to direct my energy generated by my continued frustration.
Somehow through this, God will be glorified.
