Robert Vaden Rocks!

I see great things for Robert Vaden in the future. Of course, I thought Steve Hart would do great things for the Hoosiers, and I don’t even know if he lasted a whole season with the Cream and Crimson – he definitely didn’t stay the entire four years.

The guy is clutch. I saw a glimpse of the early 90s today when he was wide open and he squared up and made a sweet shot. I remember the same thing happening when Calbert Cheaney was there. He would somehow manage to get open in the corner, catch a pass all alone, square up, and nail the jumper. It was always the most exciting thing to see when he caught that pass. Every Hoosier fan knew that ball was going in. Assembly Hall would erupt.

Maybe Vaden could provide that type of spark in the future. Here’s hoping.

I always feel bad to see a team get so used to losing that they just give away a game like today’s. Fortunately, it wasn’t my team that melted down (for once).
