The Circle City Ghostbusters are ready to believe YOU

From the films to the Commodore 64 video game, I’ve been a big fan of Ghostbusters since the first time I saw it in a theater in 1984. So when I stumbled upon a Ghostbusters cosplay group at PopCon Indy a few years ago, my inner 8-year-old geeky self nearly exploded with excitement.
I’m not going to lie. Mihret was pretty excited too. And I don’t think it was just because they were giving away stuff. They were exactly like you’d hope a real-life Ghostbuster would be: welcoming, friendly, ridiculously accommodating, and pretty funny, too.
When I approached the fine people at PopCon with my proposal to interview people connected with the Indianapolis convention, I knew who I was gonna call…
The Circle City Ghostbusters, of course!
OK, I didn’t technically “call” them. But I did reach out to them. And Jacob Bartlett, their fearless leader in combatting paranormal activity, was quick to respond. After a few scheduling issues (including my own lost voice – stupid allergies), we were able to sit down for a little chat. And let’s just say things got a little…paranormal…during our conversation…
