A Liver Transplant Recipient Tells Us About Herself (THE MattDanToddcast)
Did you know that the liver has been identified as providing over 500 functions that are vital to the human body? Crazy, right? That’s why October is National Liver Awareness Month. Because the liver is pretty important.
My friend Eve knows that all too well.
In October 2019, Eve almost lost her life due to liver failure. A donor hero, the IU Health transplant team, and a whole crew of prayer warriors saved her life.
To celebrate her “liver-versary,” and to encourage you to become an organ donor, I am honored to have Eve share her story on the latest episode of THE MattDanToddcast. It would be great if you would listen to her tell her story, then share it with your friends. But you know what would be even greater than that? Register to become an organ donor and make your wishes known.*
You could change a life like Eve’s. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the new life she’s been given.
Oh – and don’t forget to subscribe to the podcast! You can find THE MattDanToddcast on whatever platform you use to listen to podcasts.
