Introducing THE MattDanToddcast podcast

Well…I went and did a thing. It’s only taken me a decade or so to finally decide to hit “record.” Introducing THE MattDanToddcast podcast.

It’s pretty wonky, to be honest. But it’s a start. And there’s a lot of room for improvement. But you should listen to it anyway. If nothing else, listen to it to hear Aiden talk about preparing for his trip to Kenya to help train new house parents with The Boaz Project.

You can listen to it on Spotify, Google Podcasts, and RadioPublic. I’m still working on getting it added to Apple Podcasts. Hopefully that happens soon.

Oh, and while you’re listening, why not go ahead and hit that subscribe button on your favorite podcast platform? Because although I’ve already published a second episode, I don’t expect this to be a regular thing. Yet.

So you’d better subscribe so my newest episode just pop up in your feed.

Like magic.

Why start the MattDanToddcast now?

I’m glad you asked.

It’s simple, really. It’s kind of like fishing. Or golf. Or maybe even a little like playing guitar.

You start off with the basics and then figure out what you like along the way.

I thought I needed all this fancy equipment. But I didn’t even know what to look for because I didn’t know what I liked. I didn’t know what equipment and bells and whistles would work for me. You start with the basics. And then get more specialized equipment as you get better. You don’t want to invest in the expensive stuff when you don’t even know what to do with it. Just like fishing, golf, and playing the guitar. Right? I know. I could be completely wrong here. But this works for me. So that’s why I decided to go ahead and make the dive into podcasting.

Speaking of diving – did I ever tell you about the time I dove in the deep end of the pool and didn’t really know how to swim? I should probably tell you that story someday. But then again, I probably shouldn’t focus on that right now, since it was scary and embarrassing and maybe a bit traumatic. And this venture doesn’t really feel like that. Yet. But, hey, I survived. Right?

But I digress…

I’d already started seriously thinking of starting THE MattDanToddcast podcast when it came to me that this would be the perfect avenue for you to hear more from Aiden’s heart. And why not have my very first episode of THE MattDanToddcast feature my oldest son?

Makes a lot of sense. Right?

It did to me. So we did it. And now you should listen. And subscribe.

Please?

It took a while, but now I can scratch #57 off my “100(ish) Things I Want to Do” list (also known as a Bucket List. Allegedly).

Now to go cross off a few more…
