If your family is anything like mine, Hoosier hysteria is a real thing. My son’s a Hoosiers fan. I’m a Hoosiers fan. My dad’s a Hoosiers fan (and alum). My grandpa’s a Hoosiers fan. We think the greatest timeout in college basketball is the greatest timeout in any sport.

Our blood runs Cream and Crimson. And our wardrobes are pretty full of IU-related items: shirts, hats, and candy stripe pants*. And we’ve got plenty of Indiana-themed drinkware. I know. That makes finding a unique gift a little difficult. Fortunately, I’ve found a few ideas for you. They’re available at Fanatics.com. Check them out.

8 gift ideas for an Indiana Hoosiers fan

That’s right. Eight items. You know. Like the amount of national championships the men’s soccer team has.

1. Red folding chair

Every Hoosiers fan should have a red folding chair.

This is a pretty iconic gift, don’t you think? I mean, shouldn’t every Indiana fan have a red IU folding chair in their possession?

If you don’t know what I mean, let me spell it out for you.

2. Seat cover

If your dogs are anything like mine, their hair shows up everywhere. Seriously. It’s in our clothes. It’s in our carpet. It even gets in our hair. And it definitely covers our chairs. Why not help your loved ones protect their chairs from dog hair, spills, and stains with this chair cover? They also have a sofa cover, in case you want to give them a matching set.

Let’s be real. Who doesn’t want them to match?

3. Personalized Hoosiers fan sign

You’ve seen those “Live, love, laugh,” signs. And the signs with “House Rules,” and the like. personalized sign

4. IU Tiffany desk lamp

I’m not gonna lie. This is on the list because I want one. I’ve wanted one since my dad started getting IU gift catalogs back in the early 90’s. They had a similar Tiffany desk lamp and I thought it was so cool.

Still do.

5. 500-piece puzzle

I’ve made it clear in the past that I’m not a big fan of puzzles. I’ve changed my tune a little bit during recent months, thanks to a certain pandemic. Even though I don’t think I’d call myself a “fan” of puzzles (yet), I’d definitely sit down with my family and work on this Indiana Hoosiers puzzle.

6. Face coverings for your Hoosiers fan

Speaking of pandemics…

I mean, everyone’s supposed to wear them anyway. Why not give these Indiana Hoosiers face coverings and help your loved one shout “Indiana, we’re all for you!” without even saying a word?

7. Soft cooler

Cream and Crimson and cold drinks. Need I say more? This Coleman 9-can soft-sided cooler will help make sure your Indiana fan cannot falter.

8. Indiana Hoosiers park bench

After a day of fighting for the Cream and Crimson and staying tried and true in the battle, every Hoosiers fan needs to rest. This Indiana Hoosiers park bench is a perfect place to sit down, relax, and contemplate the glory of Old IU.

* Back in the day, I tried really hard to include “candy stripe pants” in this blog’s name. Remember? I might have to revisit that someday.
