Dear children: Please stop growing so fast

The last time I uploaded a photo to flickr was back in 2006. It used to be my go-to photo sharing site for my blog. In 2006, they said I didn’t have any more space so I abandoned that community. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one who left flickr.

They wooed me back, however, with this massive amount of space that’s now available for free (remember when a gig was an unheard of amount of storage?). I uploaded a couple of pictures for a post I’m going to write later today. All of a sudden, I had two pictures of Aly staring me in the face. One from Christmas 2006 (the most recent picture I had uploaded) and one from a few weeks ago that I uploaded today.

Aly then and NowPeople aren’t kidding when they talk about how quickly time flies by us if we aren’t paying attention. I still haven’t been able to find the pause button for life. Or figure out a way to make my kids stop growing. Sitting bricks on their heads doesn’t work. Not that I’ve tried doing that or anything. 😉

So let’s make the most of every moment!
