Todd Family Final Four Picks 2013
We have a family tradition of the kids participating in a bracket challenge every year. I’ve tried to share their picks with y’all. This year’s no different. You might discover a little bit of a trend among the majority of the family. We aren’t biased.
At all.
Aiden’s Picks
Louisville
Georgetown
New Mexico
Indiana
Indiana defeats Louisville in the Championship Game
Aly’s Picks
Louisville
Kansas
Gonzaga
Indiana
Indiana over Louisville for the National Championship
Mihret’s Picks
St. Louis
Oklahoma (which she pronounces “Obama”)
Ole Miss
Montana
Montana has an amazing run and defeats St. Louis to win the National Championship by a score of 5-3.
My Picks
I decided this year to just pick the Final Four that I’d like to see. I went with three teams with strong coaching connections to Indiana:
Indiana (duh)
New Mexico (Steve Alford)
St. Louis (Jimmy Crews)
Kansas – I rounded it out with a team that IU should have beaten in the tournament 20 years ago. Revenge is a dish best served cold.
Or something like that.
The Championship Game ends with Indiana over St. Louis
I know. I’m biased. And that’s OK. Do I think this Final Four will happen? Probably not. Do I think it would be cool if it happened? Absolutely!
The Wall Street Journal has an interesting tool this year called the Blindfold Brackets. They take away the names of each team and have you pick based off of the team’s resume. I did it after doing my “real” bracket. The results were quite interesting. The Elite Eight is almost identical.
What are YOUR picks this year? Who are YOU rooting for?
oh yeah….
GO HOOSIERS!!
