Someone Get Her Some Art Lessons!
Haven’t bragged on Aly’s growing artistic talent in a while. She’s been blowing us away with her creations recently.
She drew this freehand without anything to look at. I’m especially impressed with the detail on the unicorn’s horn. This girl desperately needs some art lessons because she has already surpassed the collective artistic ability of her parents. Gotta do whatever we can to encourage her to keep developing her God-given ability!

I just realized it sounds like I’m asking for someone to buy some lessons for her. Not saying that at all. Just declaring to the world that our 9 year old is already a better artist than we are! 😀
I’d like to contribute to lessons. Let me know when you start collecting!
I am impressed with Aly”s art work too. (and it’s not because I’m her grandmother.). I also see much promise in her work. The unicorns horn does have much detail. What impresses me most 9e that she has been able to give it deminsion by curving tue sections and making them so that they
look as thoough they are round. Another observation is the ease with which she has given the main a whimsical look. That caught my eye right away!. Finally, she has a vision with an idea that the sky (or background) does not need to be colored in a solid color. I believe that her way of dealing witthi this ts awesome, for her age…..I know that she has been using this technique for quite some time.Great insight of a way to get the job done.!! Great job Aly!!
