Off!

I recently heard this story at a funeral I attended. I just had to share it…

Junior was working in the field with his bib overalls on with without a t-shirt on underneath. Suddenly, mosquitoes began to swarm around him, attacking his bare skin. Looking for some immediate relief, and he ran inside and yelled to his wife, “Sarah! Get the Off! Hurry up! Get the Off!” He took off the straps to his bib overalls and she sprayed his back.

Suddenly, he gave out a shout: “That burns like the Dickens, woman! What did you do?”

“I just grabbed what you said,” she explained as she showed him the bottle.

It was a can of Easy-Off, not the bug spray.

He shouted, “Get the hose! Get the hose!”

I’m thinking there’s something in this story that’ll preach. What do you think?
