Wonderful Wookie Wednesday: Civil War Edition
We all knew Chewbacca fought in a galactic civil war a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. That apparently means he should be hanging out with civil war re-enactors.
After all, no civil war unit is complete without the token Wookiee.
Apparently this whole meeting was by happenstance as the comic fans were leaving a convention and walked by a ceremony at the Ohio Statehouse where they were recognizing the 150th anniversary of the Confederate attack on Ft. Sumter (and the beginning of the US Civil War). What happened next is a HistoryNerd-Fanboy’s dream!
Now that I think of it, such a collision couldn’t have happened by mere happenstance. I’m thinking a Jedi Mind Trick had something to do with it.
