Mihret Video
This was my dream…
to post all of my thoughts and pictures regarding our journey to Ethiopia to bring Mihret home and then conclude the series with this video. At the rate I’m going, it’ll be 2010 (or later) before that happens. So, I’ve decided to go ahead and share this video with you.
I realize for many families that have been touched by adoption, this song is sort of a “default.” And it might even be over-used in some circles. But I still used it because, by golly, I still cry when I hear it. And I guess I want you to as well. 😉

so beautiful…and yes, the song STILL makes me cry, too! Congrats you awesome family of five!!!
I’m speechless. BEAUTIFUL!
I’m not crying. Nope. Not gonna do it. 😉
Yep, totally cried. Great video, thanks for sharing!!
Caroline watched it with me and said, “Dat’s good pictures!” That song will never get old for me. I can still remember sitting in that auditorium at Ball State, listening to that song and knowing that my life was about to change in a BIG way. It’s so profound, so spiritual, so personal, that song’s effect, that I sometimes forget the hundreds, perhaps thousands, of others who have been touched by it. I am blessed to know your story!
And I’m totally embarrassed by the fact that Caroline has been home for almost three years, and I still haven’t made my OWN video to go with that song. One of these days, eh?
Oh how we loved seeeing your video. We cried with tears of such joy and gratefulness. Cherished the days with you three in Ethiopia. Our hearts and lives will never be the same again. God is so good! James 1:27 Love to have you come and stay with us in FL. Our hearts and home is always open to you all. Much love Char, Eric and Adebe
