Flashback Friday
Much to the dismay of my wife and daughter, I’m not the biggest country music fan. I know, it’s shocking. That being said, I remember watching this performance when it first aired (on the Grammys?). It left me in tears.
It’s a fitting song for today.
So where were you when the world stopped turning eight years ago?

Panama City Beach FL. We didn’t even know it had happened until like 11a. We got on the elevator with the service guy. I made conversation…
Carrie: Isn’t it hot out today…
Service Guy: Yes, but at least it isn’t New York
Carrie (Not knowing what had happened): It must be REALLY HOT in New York today.
Then we got to our hotel room and found out and were terrified being so far from home!
God blessed us tremendously in that this was the only vacation we had driven to at that point so we were able to get home without issue.
