Perfect Timing
This verse is a little out of context, but the message has still been very helpful while we’ve been waiting for an answer…
“But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day.”
Habakkuk 2:3
God’s timing is perfect timing. Even though I hate waiting.

Another good one:
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
I think this is a little out of context, too, but it’s a little comforting to know that God isn’t dragging his feet, he’s being patient with us. 🙂
OH, I love that verse! Actually, God whispered that one to me a while back in our current waiting process! We would love to go back to China again, but we are on hold for several reasons. And I am a racehorse in the starting gate. Thanks for reminding me of that verse!
I think it was one of your posts that called our attention to this verse. We’ll be praying for you as you wait, too!
Have you read Christy’s post from yesterday? She also talks about this verse.
