I received a phone call late last night, announcing that our good friend down in Tennessee (originally from Newburgh), Melissa (aka Bob; aka ‘Miss Awissa’) recently became engaged.
After we got off the phone, I posted a congratulatory Tweet.
I received this reply today.
Something tells me that Texas really isn’t in Tim & Melissa’s plans.

You are correct, I am not interested in a wedding in Texas.
And you might have elevated my social staus. I’m from BOONVILLE, not Newburgh. But I won’t tell, since everyone will think I grew up in a mansion and went to state with the band every year. ; )

Well, you know. For those of us who grew up in the bustling metropolis of Evansville, Newburgh and Boonville kinda run together anyway, right?
