Bad football weekend

Ball State made history last night by beating a BCS team for the first time…ever. That’s a good thing, except for the fact that it at the expense of the Hoosiers. I know, I’m just begging for it when I care for IU football.  But I just can’t give them up. Believe me. I’ve tried. And on top of that, the Cardinals lost one of their key players to a cervical spine fracture and spinal cord injury.

Then there was the Colts game today. Not pretty. Can we get Bob Sanders back? Please?

And my fantasy football team? Yeah. Getting dismantled today. I blew out a team last week and now I guess it’s my turn. Not fun.

I guess I can always take solace in the fact that the lowly Dolphins beat the Patriots today – with style. That helps ease the sting. But not much.
