What was I thinking?
So, I’ve decided to do an eight week series going through the Psalms for the rest of the Summer. And I’ve now come to the realization that it’s a pretty tall order to choose just eight of the 150 to highlight.

So, have you decided how you are going to choose? by theme? by author? by time period?
I’m taking some of the key themes from the Psalms and applying them to regular-day life now.
I think five of them have a traditional connection with David. Two more are probably from Hezekiah’s reign. The other one – I have no idea who wrote it (although some scholars argue we really know the authors of very few of the Psalms).
I’ll share the actual Psalms later today (I hope).
