Please Make it Stop!
I’ve only been back home for a few days and I’m already tired of the rain up here. There were tornadoes and crazy straightline winds that came along with a pretty strong storm system right before we left town last week (well…almost a week and a half ago now). Then there was the flooding which is still causing serious damage (including my father-in-law’s basement, which we helped clear out a little bit today). And now it’s raining again! And we’re supposed to have rain all night long.
I can’t imagine what the people are going through who have lost absolutely everything.
I know everyone was hoping we’d get more rain than we did last year because it was drought-like conditions, but this is getting a little excessive, don’t you think?
