My Sweet 16 & Elite Eight

Here are the teams I had picked to be in the Sweet 16. The ones I got wrong, I’ve placed the correct answer in parenthesis.

Notre Dame (Washington State)

Butler (Tennessee)
Kansas
Vanderbilt (Villanova)
Wisconsin
Davidson
Memphis
Pitt (Michigan State)
Cornell (Stanford)
Texas
UCLA
Drake (W. Kentucky)
Xavier
Duke (W. Virginia)

Nine out of sixteen isn’t horrible. It isn’t great, either. I’m quite proud of myself for picking Davidson over Georgetown. But then again, I also picked other upsets like Butler over Tennessee and Cornell to make it out of the first round. In addition, I missed the big upsets like Villanova and Western Kentucky. So I shouldn’t go to too much effort in patting myself on the back.

I’m much more comfortable with my Elite Eight. Only one team didn’t make it into the Sweet Sixteen…

We’ll see how close I picked them. I’m in the bottom of my bracket group right now. But if I get a decent amount of these correct, I’ll be shooting up the Leaderboard in no time! We’ll know soon enough when the games start in the next hour or so.
