What happened?
We took the kids to the circus yesterday afternoon. Forgot and left the phone at home, so I couldn’t get any text updates from the IU game. When we were there, we were talking to someone and he checked his cell phone and asked, “You IU fans?”
I didn’t have anything remotely Hoosiers-related on. Guess it’s just etched on my forehead or something. Anyway, I nodded in response.
“I just got a score update. It’s not good. Something like 40-19…or something like that.”
Couldn’t get an update on the score until I got home. Here’s the headline I saw on my computer screen.
Shellacked?
Not good. Not good at all.
Sounds like a good thing I didn’t get to watch the game.
