It’s turning out to be a good day

It’s turning out to be a pretty good day. It seems that CART and IRL are finally coming together to form a single open-wheel series. Re-unification is just around the corner. And it’s about time! This little rift between the open-wheel teams has allowed NASCAR to soar to new heights, even though open-wheel is faster, has had many close finishes, and the crashes are much more spectacular.

And now I’ve heard rumors that the Big(11)Ten Network and Comcast are close to getting a deal done. I’m not sure if IU has any more games on said network the rest of the season, but it’s still positive movement, which is positive news.

Now, all we need is for IU to run Purdue out of the building tonight. Although I think it’s highly unlikely, it would still be good news for me.
