Calling all biblical scholars
I need a story from the Bible about a person who pretends to be someone he (or she) really isn’t. So far, only two characters come to mind:
1.) Abraham & Sarah when they go into Egypt and say that they aren’t married. They’re merely siblings.
2.) Peter’s denial of having anything to do with Jesus during Jesus’ trial.
I guess there’s Jacob pretending to be Esau, too. Can you think of any other examples?
