Is there feline blood in her?

I was working on something in our bedroom this afternoon when Aly brought Bella in.  She told me (quite nonchalantly) that Bella had caught a rat.  I thought ‘OK, she’s making something up.  I’ll go check it out in a minute.’  Since this was coming from the girl who makes a big deal about bugs being in our house (although she loves to play with them outside), I figured she was just trying to trick me (which she tries to do a lot).  But she kept talking about it and kept Bella there with her – like she was trying to keep Bella away from something.  Then she said something about it stinking.

I thought, ‘Stinking?  She’s serious.  She wouldn’t make that up.’

Sure enough, there was a dead mouse (maybe a rat) in our living room that Bella had obviously been messing with. 

Maybe Bella really is Aly’s kindred spirit if she’s half cat, too!
