Black Cat
After all was said and done tonight and everything was put away, I walked outside of the church building and was greeted by a black cat. Said cat walked across the street and sat on our porch.
I had to run back over to my office for a minute and there was the cat. Just sitting at our front door.
It followed me over to the church building and sat by the door, mewing the entire time I was in the building. It then followed me across the street and sat on our porch again.
So, it appears we’ve been adopted by a black cat on Halloween. How…poetic.

When I was a kid we had one black cat named “Halloween” and another one named “Goblin.”
Strange – the cat hasn’t been back in almost a week. Maybe it didn’t like the new name I gave it.
