Just a little too late
Christy told me that while I was at a meeting last night, we got a call on our cell phone. It was from a guy at a church in upper East Tennessee. He asked if I was interested in interviewing with them for a preaching position.
Christy replied, “Well, we recently moved up to Indiana and are almost done unpacking our boxes. I don’ t think we want to repack all of them.” She laughed. He laughed. It was all good.
I had sent a resume to this church back in March. Nothing like striking while the iron is hot, huh?
