Another Interruption
As I stepped up to preach yesterday morning (yes, I’ll post the sermon on
later today), he heard a noise. Someone’s PDA alarm started playing the Transformers theme. I looked around and realized it was mine – coming from my coat pocket.
I never carry my PDA with me on Sundays. I figured I should start so I could write myself reminders about things people tell me during the service. At least now I’ll remember to silence the reminders.

hahaha!!! that makes me giggle.
Yeah, and what makes it even more ironic is that I was going to put something in the bulletin asking people to make sure their cell phones and pagers were on ‘silent.’ Guess I should have followed my own advice.
You have the Transformers theme song on your PDA?!? That’s awesome!
Yeah. It’s pretty sweet.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t serve as a very good alarm. It’s set in a really low key, so unless I have it turned up to the max setting, I usually don’t hear it. Of course, that saved me this time.
The alarm that works best at getting my attention is the Flintstones alarm. Of course, it also scares the living daylights out of me because it starts off so high and loud. I like my PDA to yell at me…just not scare me to death in the process.
