#9
Our 9th anniversary celebration yesterday was decidedly low-key. With yesterday being the kids’ first day of school (pictures will be posted later today – promise!), Christy’s adjustment to student teaching, and my new church responsibilities, we agreed that an elaborate evening would not be something we could pull off this year.
That being said, we still went out to eat. I had planned on fixing something nice for dinner when Christy came home and said, “Let’s go out to eat.” hmmmmm….go out to eat or spend the evening dirtying dishes then washing said dishes…
We took the kids to Cheeseburger in Paradise. Granted, it was no rack of lamb and filet mignon, but we had fun and the food was pretty good. The chocolate nachos were phenomenal!! We’ll definitely be back (probably sans kids, although they liked the food…they even ate cheeseburgers – whou woulda thunk?)!

chocolate nachos?
Yup. I thought it sounded strange, to be honest. It’s flour-based tortilla chips, deep-fried when you order. Comes with strawberries, ice cream, and chocolate sauce.
mmmmmmm…..
