Back to School
Yesterday was the first day of school. It was very bittersweet. Aly was excited to go to the Kindergarten orientation. Aiden was overly excited to see his friends that he has been talking about nonstop since we decided to move away. It was fun watching the kids get all excited about going to school. Yay school!
We sat in the assembly and they closed as they always do – everyone sings the school song. We could see Aiden sitting with one of his friends singing it at the top of his lungs. I realized he won’t be doing that much longer.
And there was a huge lump in my throat.
