Trial Sermon
I forgot to mention on here that I was, in fact, invited back for a trial sermon at the church in Muncie. So we’re in central Indiana again. I’m in the process of finalizing the manuscript for my sermon. It has suddenly hit me that this could be the most important sermon of my life. No pressure.
I originally wanted to title my sermon I’m Not Supposed to Be Here, but decided against it. I’ve decided to call it A Change in Plans instead. That sounds a little less intimidating. Although, one of the first things I’m going to say is, “I’m not supposed to be here.” We’ll see how it goes.

Great opening for a trial sermon. I hope they appreciate how awesome that is!
Let’s just hope they appreciate the rest of the sermon just as much!
I just read “In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day.”
So, jump in that pit and take on the challenege.
Just don’t do so well that they take you away from East Tenn. (Just kidding… kind of.)
That book rocks! I’m gonna try to figure out how to do a sermon series based around it.
