Dinosphere
Like I said earlier, the Dinosphere was pretty stinkin’ cool. As a kid, I would have loved it. Shoot, I had a good time even though I’m apparently a ‘grown up’ now.
Crikey! Steve Irwin would have had a hard time with this Super Croc. It’s as large as a bus. What a way to start the tour!
They have a fossil that the kids can work on excavating. Looks like we have a couple of paleontologists in the making.
The Dinosphere is covered by a huge dome (hence the name, Dinosphere). It looks like you’re covered by a huge prehistoric sky. Then it gets dark and it really feels like you’re in a huge rainstorm. Afterwards, the sun came out – as seen in these pictures. The picture on the left is a ‘teenage’ T. Rex attacking a Triceratops. On the right, an adult T. Rex is attacking the same Triceratops. Looks like the odds are stacked against the armored plant-eater.
We discovered two new species at the Dinosphere – the Alyraptor and the Aidensaurus. The Aidensaurus needs to be careful. The Alyraptor looks like she might be going after his eggs.
