Nehemiah
Someday I’ll visit a church where the preacher preaches from the book of Nehemiah and it has absolutely nothing to do with a building program. That would be nice. There’s so much more to the book than just “This is how we should expand our building.”
Alas, it didn’t happen today.

I really love Nehemiah. It’s a great story with HUGE implications for living life–I think it’s sad that churches don’t use the book for all it is worth. Actually, the way I learned the story was that I taught it several times for children’s church..
I don’t like building programs.
