This one’s for Aunt Liz
It’s the end of March. That means NASCAR is in town again. Even though we aren’t going to the race this year (unless tickets magically appear), I still took the kids to enjoy some of the fun. liztodd will be so proud! So, here’s pictures from Fan Days…
The Kingsford Charcoal car was a new addition this year. They had burgers available – cooked over charcoal…obviously. They also had some honey baked beans. I convinced Aly to try them and she loved them! One more thing to add to the list of things she likes!
They set this “photo op” facing the sun. It’s tough to see in the shadows. These are some of the drivers who like to drink Coke. How convenient that they’re also sponsored by the company. I’m sure the money had nothing to do with their choice in cola. The headless guy on the left is supposed to be a space where you can stick your head in and look like you’re a cool racecar driver. Or something like that. It’s similar to last year’s picture with the big goof in the middle.
Aiden filling in for the headless driver. See – the shadows killed this picture. That’s too bad.
Aly as the headless driver. She’s not quite tall enough. Don’t the other drivers look so thrilled that she’s there?
The coolest feature this year was you got to pretend you were on a pit crew. Aiden tried his hand at taking off the tire. Looks like he might have found his calling!
