Ministry Search Update
Our trip up to Indy last week has helped us come to the decision that I need to expand my ministry search for a pulpit-ministry position to include the Midwest. There are many reasons that have led us to this decision, some of which include family health concerns. I’ll go into more detail via private message if you want more information. Just ask.
I haven’t given up on searching in our area. But I believe it’s necessary for us to pursue as many options as possible that include moving back north as well.
The nice thing is there are more opportunities up that way than there are in this area at the present moment.
Regardless of where we move, we’re staying here until at least May. That’s when Christy graduates with her Masters from ETSU (possibly with a 4.0 – yes, I’m proud of her).
What does this do with my school plans? I don’t know yet. We’ll cross that bridge when we get there.
I’ll keep you updated.
I was joking last year when I said I might enter the pastors ‘draft’ early. Maybe that’s really going to be the case.

I think it’s the other way around. Your faith over these past few years has strengthened and encouraged us in ways that I can’t even begin to explain.
