A few snow pics
We finally gave in during our stay up in Indy and let the kids play outside in the snow for a few minutes. The temperatures were in the single digits and the wind was terrible as well.
It was a layer of snow with a layer of ice, then another layer of snow. And the snow was about as fine as sand. No snowballs or snowmen, but the kids still had fun.
We only brought up one pair of shoes each for the kids. We really didn’t want to have the kids’ shoes get soaked. They were all sold out of boots at the local stores. So I got creative and wrapped plastic bags around their feet. Not very stylish, but their feet stayed dry!
Like I said, you couldn’t do very much. That didn’t stop Aiden from trying to make a snow angel! Too bad it was so packed that you really couldn’t see anything!
Alyson chose to pick up as much ice/snow as she could. I thought I had the camera on a better setting so you could see her face. I guess I was wrong.
