liztodd was scheduled for a C-Section this coming Thursday morning. We planned on picking up the kids from school on Wednesday and driving up to Indy so we could be there for the birth.

Last night, Christy woke me up at 1:00 this morning and told me that Liz’s water had broken and they were heading to the hospital. After about a half an hour of discussion about when we were going to leave, I went back to bed. Christy woke me back up at 5:30 (she only slept one hour after we received “the call”) and we loaded up the car. By 10, we were on the way to Indy to meet our new little nephew. We got up to the hospital by 6 this evening…

Caedmon Jonas Samuel Todd was born at 6:19 this morning.

He’s a beautiful baby boy! And there was much rejoicing!!

I’ll post pictures as soon as I can. It might not be until Wednesday, though.
