Stop me if you’ve heard this one…
Ever heard the joke about the cat on the roof?
Yeah – that’s kinda how I’ve felt sometimes when I’ve told them about our church situation. It’s kinda like this big bomb I drop on them and there’s really not much of a way to say it in a less shocking way.
Fortunately, everyone in our Community Group knows now. And their reactions have been much more positive than I could have hoped.
We’re all gonna go to church together somewhere this Sunday. Not sure where yet.
That’s OK. I’ve got a few days to figure it out.

funny, actually, my family regularly uses the “on the roof” comment when someone/something has died.
sorry this is happening. I know you’ve got your hopes set on bigger and better, and i’ll keep you and yours in my thoughts.
Thanks. It really does mean a lot.
I had to tell a friend that his fish was stuck on the roof once. It was only three days after I told him the joke. Oh, the irony.
Now that this is public knowledge, seeing as how we didn’t have church this morning, I’ve decided to change the posts relating to this from “Friends Only” to “Public.”
Just FYI.
what?
what happened? How can we pray for you? SM
